What You Will Do:
As our IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our internal staff, ensuring they have the technical tools necessary to perform their jobs efficiently. You will work in a collaborative environment that values innovation and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Manage and resolve incoming help desk tickets efficiently using JIRA or ServiceNow.
- Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting for workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Assist with software deployment, patch management, and antivirus configuration across the organization.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all support interactions, resolutions, and asset inventories.
- Collaborate with the IT Manager to improve IT processes and ensure system uptime.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of professional experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- CompTIA A+ Certification is a plus but not required.
