Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Configure and deploy workstations, laptops, and mobile devices for new employees.
- Manage and maintain the Help Desk ticketing system (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow) to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist in troubleshooting local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet connectivity problems.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement IT security policies and software updates.
- Perform regular hardware maintenance and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Certification such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 40 lbs) as needed.
