Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology disruptions (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 5-year business objectives
- Design and manage cross-functional R&D initiatives for emerging tech adoption
- Present futuristic visions to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and autonomous systems
- Author thought leadership on technological singularity and human-machine symbiosis
- Drive prototyping of 2026-viable technologies in our innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial solutions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership on technological evolution (papers, patents, books)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on innovation strategy
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, scenario planning)
