Responsibilities
- Forecast emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their business impact through horizon scanning and predictive modeling
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and organizational goals
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for disruptive technological shifts
- Translate foresight into actionable recommendations for product development and market positioning
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, researchers, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership on technological evolution and its implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in technology forecasting, strategic foresight, or related field
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, IoT, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Exceptional analytical and predictive modeling skills
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication ability
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology forecasting preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology or futurism
