Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across technology, societal, and geopolitical domains to identify 2026+ disruptors
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and research teams
- Present visionary roadmaps to investors, partners, and board members with compelling narratives
- Establish KPIs for emerging technology adoption and market readiness
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020+ trend predictions with proven market impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Proficient in foresight methodologies: Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact matrices
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or equivalent
- Published work in peer-reviewed futures journals or industry whitepapers
