Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 technology and societal trend forecasts using quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Design strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (AI, quantum computing, biotech) across verticals
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive teams on disruptive market shifts
- Produce white papers and thought leadership on future-of-work implications
- Partner with R&D to identify moonshot opportunities aligned with 2026 vision
- Analyze geopolitical and socioeconomic vectors for strategic risk mitigation
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futurism, or technology innovation with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related quantitative/qualitative discipline
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts with published research or validated models
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and ability to visualize complex interdependencies
- Fluency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ strategic implementations based on foresight work
