Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, geopolitical shifts, and socioeconomic indicators to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning models for emerging disruptors (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry summits
- Establish strategic partnerships with innovation labs, research institutions, and government agencies
- Mentor junior analysts in futures research methodologies and critical analysis frameworks
- Present quarterly strategic briefings to the board of directors and executive committee
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing successful 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or CFTR)
- Published work in futurist journals or major industry publications
