Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026-2030 strategic innovation roadmap using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Establish partnerships with research institutions, startups, and global innovation hubs
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership with data-backed insights
- Design and implement innovation frameworks to foster disruptive thinking across the organization
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and technological shifts impacting future business landscapes
- Mentor next-generation innovators through our Horizon Academy program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with AI/ML tools for predictive analytics and trend modeling
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., CFM) strongly preferred
