Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual trend reports on exponential technologies with 3-5 year predictive horizons
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite decision-making in volatile markets
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping future opportunities to product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic labs and innovation accelerators
- Create immersive foresight tools (VR simulations, interactive dashboards) for stakeholders
- Monitor global signals (geopolitical, climate, social) impacting tech adoption curves
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members quarterly
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, space, etc.)
- Strong command of scenario-planning methodologies (STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech innovation publications
- Experience with AI-driven trend analysis tools and data visualization platforms
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred) or related discipline
