Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026+ strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Partner with R&D to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics) with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to build organizational resilience against disruptive forces
- Produce high-impact briefings for executive leadership on paradigm shifts and competitive futures
- Design innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market opportunities
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness metrics across all business units
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (Web3, AGI, synthetic biology) and societal implications
- Certification in foresight (e.g., CFMP from APF) or equivalent advanced degree in Futures Studies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analyses or future scenario projects
- Mastery of foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
- Experience scaling innovation frameworks across global organizations
