Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks that inform product roadmaps and investment decisions
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with executive leadership to align on future scenarios
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Translate complex future projections into actionable business strategies
- Champion innovation culture across 15+ global R&D centers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, neurotech, AGI ethics, and climate tech
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical systems
- Published author in futures research or innovation strategy (peer-reviewed journals)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term transformation
