Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic indicators to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+ horizons
- Develop and maintain horizon scanning frameworks using AI-powered trend analysis tools and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into innovation roadmaps and product development pipelines
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and emerging technology incubators
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and boards using compelling visual storytelling and data visualization
- Monitor emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro interfaces) for competitive positioning
- Design and implement innovation governance frameworks to embed foresight into organizational DNA
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse stakeholders
