Responsibilities
- Research and synthesize global tech/socioeconomic trends to identify 2026+ opportunities
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on disruptive technologies
- Advise executive team on long-term risk mitigation and market positioning
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Quantify market potential of emerging technologies through data modeling
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing 5-10 year strategic plans for tech companies
- Expertise in AI, biotech, or quantum computing trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills
- Published thought leadership in top-tier innovation publications
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and predictive analytics platforms
