Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape assessments for futuristic tech domains
- Design ethical frameworks for AI deployment and autonomous systems
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, biotech integration, or decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE or ACM journals on future-tech topics
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding for innovative projects
- Strong proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting models
