Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic AI, decentralized systems) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members using data-driven frameworks
- Build partnerships with research institutions and venture capital firms
- Quantify ROI of futuristic initiatives through scenario modeling and market analysis
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi techniques)
- Strong background in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, blockchain, or biotech
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
