Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating breakthrough innovations into corporate ecosystems
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market positioning analysis for future tech verticals
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Assess ethical, regulatory, and societal implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing technology roadmaps
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (startups, academia, VCs)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies and scenario planning
