Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity before analysis.
- SQL Development: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract specific datasets from large relational databases.
- Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain interactive visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business operations.
- Reporting: Draft clear, concise reports and presentations for management to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Engineering) to understand data needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Charts).
- Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL or database concepts is required; willingness to learn advanced querying is essential.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data sets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R is a strong plus.
