Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather raw data from various sources and perform rigorous cleaning to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Execute basic to intermediate statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets.
- Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders clearly.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain regular reports that summarize key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams in marketing, sales, and operations to understand their data needs and provide support.
- Documentation: Document data processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and repeatability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and a basic understanding of SQL or Python.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to dissecting complex problems.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker) is a plus.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, eager to learn new technologies, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
