- Identify emerging market trends and competitive threats to inform R&D priorities
- Secure strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry leaders
- Drive cultural transformation to embed innovation across all departments
- Manage $15M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Present innovation roadmap to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in innovation leadership, tech strategy, or R&D management
- Proven track record launching market-defining products/services post-2020
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Experience managing distributed global innovation teams (200+ personnel)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership in innovation management
- PMP or similar certification preferred
