Responsibilities
- Perform Data Cleaning & Validation: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to ensure high accuracy and consistency for weekend reporting cycles.
- Develop Dashboards: Create and maintain interactive visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- SQL Analysis: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data, perform joins, and generate reports tailored to business requirements.
- Statistical Modeling: Analyze trends and patterns in historical data to forecast future performance and identify anomalies.
- Report Generation: Compile weekly and monthly analytical reports for stakeholders, highlighting actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide technical solutions for data extraction and analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of Excel (Advanced formulas, PivotTables) and data warehousing concepts.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors in data and ensure data quality standards are met.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Availability: Must be available to work a consistent weekend schedule (e.g., Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday).
