Responsibilities
- Weekly Reporting: Lead the extraction, cleaning, and analysis of large datasets to produce comprehensive weekly reports for the executive team.
- Data Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize trends and anomalies.
- SQL Management: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data from multiple sources and ensure data integrity across the database.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline weekend data workflows and optimize existing analytical processes.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical models.
- Quality Assurance: Validate data accuracy and perform root-cause analysis on discrepancies to ensure high data quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the weekend shift or 24/7 operations environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python or R for data manipulation, and experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
