In this role, you will bridge the gap between raw data and actionable business intelligence. You will be responsible for maintaining our data pipelines, generating comprehensive weekly reports, and assisting the team in identifying key trends that impact our quarterly performance.
Responsibilities
- Data Management: Execute rigorous data cleaning, validation, and transformation tasks to ensure 99.9% data integrity for weekend reporting cycles.
- Reporting: Design and generate automated dashboards and executive summaries highlighting critical KPIs and performance metrics.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand weekend operational needs and translate them into data requirements.
- Analysis: Perform statistical analysis and trend forecasting to support strategic planning for the upcoming week.
- Tool Maintenance: Monitor and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data availability during off-peak hours.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the energy or logistics sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for complex querying and data manipulation; experience with Python or R for scripting.
- Tools: Strong command of BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Friday through Sunday shift (rotating or fixed schedule).
