Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, and statistical methods to identify business trends and opportunities
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Create weekly performance reports highlighting key metrics and KPIs for weekend operations
- Collaborate with data engineers to maintain data pipeline integrity and quality
- Present findings to leadership teams with clear recommendations for process optimization
- Monitor weekend-specific data anomalies and implement real-time solutions
- Document analysis methodologies and maintain best practices for weekend data workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong statistical analysis skills with experience in hypothesis testing and regression modeling
- Experience working with large datasets in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex data to non-technical audiences
