Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large sets of raw data to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and manipulate data from relational databases and data warehouses.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) and generate clear, concise reports for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical modeling to uncover hidden patterns and forecast trends.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and executives to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and business questions.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data processes and recommend automation strategies to streamline workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation.
- BI Tools: Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about data quality and logic.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple urgent projects simultaneously.
