Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end data analysis on nightly batch loads, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaborate with the day-shift analytics team to bridge gaps in reporting and ensure seamless data continuity.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction and transformation processes.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in real-time.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all nightly reporting systems.
- Document data pipelines, methodologies, and findings to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Proactively communicate critical data insights to stakeholders via email or during the morning handover briefings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting languages like Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST).
