Responsibilities
- Extract & Transform: Gather, clean, and manipulate large datasets from various sources using SQL and Python to ensure data integrity.
- Nightly Reporting: Develop and maintain automated dashboards and nightly reporting packages using Tableau and Power BI.
- Trend Analysis: Identify trends, anomalies, and patterns within the data to support executive decision-making and process optimization.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with operations and engineering teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and data requirements.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation for data pipelines and methodologies to ensure team knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Quality Assurance: Rigorously test data models and reports to guarantee accuracy before distribution to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (querying, joins, stored procedures) and experience with Python or R.
- Visualization: Expert-level knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
- Communication: Excellent ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise business recommendations.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Night Shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
