Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Modeling: Design and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform raw data from multiple sources into structured formats.
- Dashboard Development: Build and maintain interactive, high-performance dashboards in Tableau and PowerBI to monitor KPIs and key business metrics.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and uncover anomalies that drive business growth.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to define data requirements and translate business questions into technical analysis.
- Report Generation: Produce weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports that are clear, concise, and tailored to the audience.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data pipelines and recommend automation strategies to improve operational velocity.
- Data Governance: Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL preferred) and Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Excel: Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macros.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a persuasive manner.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a focus on detail and accuracy.
