What You Will Do:
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will support the data team in maintaining data integrity, creating visualizations, and assisting in strategic reporting. This is a hands-on learning position designed for career changers and recent graduates.
Responsibilities
- Assist in Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather raw data from various sources and ensure accuracy through cleaning and validation processes.
- Create Dashboards: Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Generate Reports: Compile weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders to support decision-making processes.
- Support Statistical Analysis: Work under the guidance of senior analysts to perform basic statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Database Management: Learn and assist with querying databases using SQL to retrieve specific datasets.
- Collaborate: Partner with marketing and sales teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is mandatory; experience with SQL or Python is a plus but not required.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors or anomalies in large datasets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex data simply.
- Soft Skills: Eagerness to learn, adaptability, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our Orlando, FL office or hybrid model.
