Responsibilities
- Collect, cleanse, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for reporting purposes.
- Develop complex SQL queries and data models to support ad-hoc reporting and business intelligence initiatives.
- Create intuitive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to leadership.
- Perform statistical analysis and forecasting to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to define data requirements and success metrics.
- Document data processes and maintain data governance standards across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or Power BI.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear, business-friendly insights.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
