Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure high data quality and integrity.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Perform complex statistical analysis and forecasting to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to translate business questions into analytical queries.
- Create comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
- Automate data workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Stay current with industry best practices, data visualization techniques, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role (1-3 years minimum).
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States and reside in San Antonio, TX.
