Responsibilities
- Perform Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Develop Dashboards: Create interactive visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Business Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders, translating technical findings into business-friendly language.
- Database Management: Collaborate with IT teams to optimize database queries and improve data retrieval speeds.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Programming: Strong working knowledge of Python or R is a significant plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors in data and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data simply.
