Responsibilities
- Conduct real-time threat monitoring and analysis using SIEM tools
- Lead incident response for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Develop and implement security protocols for cloud infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500 regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Generate detailed security reports for executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with daily pay contract experience
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security and network protocols
- Experience with Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, or CrowdStrike
- Strong knowledge of NY financial industry regulations
- Proven track record in incident response (DFIR)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
