Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and generate detailed incident reports
- Implement vulnerability management scans and patch prioritization for critical assets
- Collaborate with global teams during cross-timezone security drills and simulations
- Maintain and optimize security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR) for 24/7 protection
- Document security procedures and provide after-action reports for overnight incidents
- Stay current on emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence sharing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with night shift or 24/7 operations exposure
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, network forensics, and incident response protocols
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and CIS Controls
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Excellent written communication for incident documentation and reporting
- Valid driver's license for potential on-call rotations
