Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and threats in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design and implement robust security controls.
- Produce detailed security reports, trend analysis, and incident summaries for stakeholders.
- Investigate root causes of security breaches and recommend remediation strategies.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network security protocols.
- Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (if applicable).
