Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security systems
- Document security incidents and create detailed forensic reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001
- Develop incident response playbooks and conduct tabletop exercises
- Stay current on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification
- Proficiency in network security tools (Snort, Wireshark)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and DevSecOps
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
