Responsibilities
- Monitor security infrastructure (SIEM, IDS/IPS) and respond to alerts in real-time
- Conduct forensic investigations of security incidents and breaches
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, EDR, WAF)
- Generate detailed incident reports and executive summaries
- Collaborate with global security teams during major incidents
- Stay current with emerging threats and attack vectors
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with weekend shift exposure
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Hands-on experience with incident response protocols
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- BS/MS in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field preferred
