Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across 24/7 SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Implement and maintain security controls for cloud/on-premise infrastructure
- Collaborate with global incident response teams during critical events
- Document security incidents and remediation actions in SOAR platforms
- Stay current with emerging threats through continuous training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with weekend shift exposure
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification (CompTIA Security+ required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with NIST cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize high-severity alerts
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting
- Valid U.S. government security clearance preferred
