Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during weekend shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven urgency
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during major incident response activations
- Document security protocols and maintain comprehensive audit trails
- Implement threat intelligence-driven mitigation strategies
- Participate in weekend security drills and tabletop exercises
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC/NOC operations
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud security architecture
- Incident response experience with NIST framework
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure weekend scenarios
