Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents during weekend shifts
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents, remediation actions, and maintain audit trails
- Collaborate with SOC team members during high-priority incidents
- Stay updated on emerging threats and implement countermeasures
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required
- Proficiency with security tools: IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection
- Experience with Windows/Linux environments and network protocols
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
- Valid US driver's license for occasional on-site requirements
