Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain firewall configurations (Fortinet, Palo Alto)
- Document security incidents and remediation procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams on security policy updates
- Stay current with emerging threats via threat intelligence feeds
- Participate in quarterly security audits and compliance checks
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or related experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure security services)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Active US government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Philadelphia-based or willing to relocate
