Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with NIST-aligned protocols
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing on critical systems
- Document incident reports and recommend remediation strategies
- Collaborate with global teams during cross-continental threat mitigation
- Conduct quarterly security posture reviews for financial services clients
Qualifications
- 3+ years in SOC operations or incident response
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and compliance frameworks
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
