Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for 24/7 threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches and document findings
- Implement vulnerability scans and patch management across enterprise systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation strategies
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with evolving threat intelligence and attack vectors
- Participate in regular security drills and tabletop exercises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SOC operations or threat detection
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Snort, Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be available for 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am)
