Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for 24/7 threat detection and incident response
- Analyze network traffic and system logs for anomalous activities
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams during security incidents
- Document and escalate critical vulnerabilities per SLA protocols
- Conduct forensic investigations on security breaches
- Implement patch management for critical systems during low-traffic windows
- Generate daily security intelligence reports for leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on SOC or threat analysis experience
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel)
- Knowledge of NIST framework and compliance standards
- Experience with incident response protocols (IRP)
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
