Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Incident response and forensic investigation of security breaches
- Develop and implement security controls for network infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST frameworks
- Document security procedures and generate executive reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on threat detection experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux environments and networking protocols
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Experience with incident response tools (Wireshark, FTK)
- Ability to work flexible hours with daily pay compensation
