Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for real-time threat detection
- Conduct incident response investigations and remediation of security breaches
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident reports and playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust security controls
- Provide emergency on-call support during critical security incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint security platforms
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Active CISSP or equivalent advanced security certification preferred
