Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-digital interfaces, AGI) and forecast industry-specific impacts through 2030
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients in finance, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping 2026-ready solutions using generative AI and synthetic biology
- Present foresight findings to C-suite executives through immersive future-state simulations
- Build and maintain a global network of tech pioneers, academic researchers, and venture capitalists
- Author annual '2026 Tech Horizons' report distributed to 10,000+ industry leaders
- Mentor a team of futurists and researchers in horizon-scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 companies
- Published research on emerging technologies with citations in top-tier journals
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, climate tech, decentralized AI, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused initiatives that generated >$50M in value
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in scenario planning tools
- Public speaking experience at global tech forums (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ technology forecasts with 90%+ accuracy rate
