Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across quantum computing, biotech integration, and decentralized systems
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions for 2026 deployment
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-economic factors influencing tech adoption timelines
- Author white papers on emerging paradigms like neuro-interfaces and ambient AI
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech analysis
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AI ethics
- Proven track record of developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Strong data modeling skills with experience in predictive analytics tools
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Experience collaborating with academic and government research institutions
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization foresight
