Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling 2026-era solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for emerging technologies
- Present futurist insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive ethical framework development for autonomous systems
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for 2026 technology initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Published research in AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or neurotechnology
- Proven track record of launching industry-defining products
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for next-gen tech (e.g., FDA for biotech, FCC for spectrum)
- Experience with futures methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, trend analysis)
- Deep understanding of singularity and post-human technology implications
