Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, bio-computing, AGI)
- Lead innovation workshops with C-suite and engineering teams
- Produce strategic foresight reports and competitive technology analyses
- Prototype future-facing solutions using rapid development frameworks
- Build partnerships with academic research institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor junior futurists and drive cross-departmental innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record in technology forecasting and trend analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong background in rapid prototyping and MVP development
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating technology foresight work or innovation projects
