Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive opportunities across emerging technology domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototypes and minimum viable products for future-facing solutions
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory landscapes, and societal shifts to inform strategic decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Develop compelling future scenarios and strategic narratives for executive leadership and board presentations
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio, balancing high-risk moonshots with near-term commercial opportunities
- Champion a culture of experimentation, documenting learnings and scaling successful innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or future-focused product development
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services with measurable market impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS in Technology/Engineering, or PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives and future strategy development
